Scoring Monitors - State Championships
Summary:Eliminate Scoring monitors at Class A State Golf Tournament for Boys and Girls
Rationale:The use of scoring monitors has delayed Coaches being able to use golf carts at Districts to have more coaching time with their athletes. Most scoring monitors require a cart. Scoring monitors have at times created more confusion rather than clarification of scores. No other sport expects their coaches to walk 6-8 miles to be able to coach their kids.
Pros:Coaches are able to coach their kids more often by using carts.
Eliminates the potential of a scoring monitor turning in the wrong score for an athlete.
Cons:Coaches are responsible for the integrity of their athletes.
