| Summary: | Prior to the first contest date for the spring sports season, only intra-squad games or intra-squad scrimmages are permitted. However, each school is permitted to participate in one scheduled "Jamboree game" to be held the beginning of Week 36 to Tuesday of Week 37 of the NSAA calendar. Proceeds from the Jamboree game are designated toward the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame, with guidelines and financial report to be determined by the NSAA Executive Staff, as directed by the Board of Directors. | |||
| Rationale: | To match other sports with existing jamboree opportunities. This allows teams the opportunity to play against another team prior to the start of their season. | |||
| Pros: | Allows for in-game situations that cannot be replicated against your own teammates. | |||
